This course aims to give participants the knowledge required to administer medicines safely and effectively to adults and children in line with their policies, legislation and safe practice.

Candidates will have an awareness of the different types of medication available, the possible administration routes used, how to deal with any possible side effects, and the importance of correct documentation. They will also discuss the differing outcomes with regard to their role as carers.
